Velvet Vault Botanicals sells live plants, which are natural products subject to variation. Plant appearance, growth rate, coloration, and condition may change over time due to environmental factors, care practices, and transit conditions.
While every effort is made to provide healthy, well-established plants, Velvet Vault Botanicals makes no guarantees regarding future growth, performance, or longevity after transfer to the buyer. Once a plant has been delivered or picked up, the buyer assumes responsibility for ongoing care and environmental conditions.
Velvet Vault Botanicals is not responsible for damage, loss, or decline resulting from improper care, environmental changes, pest exposure after delivery, or conditions beyond the seller’s control.
By completing a purchase, the buyer acknowledges the inherent risks associated with live plant ownership and agrees to accept those risks.
Due to the nature of live plants, all sales are final.
Velvet Vault Botanicals does not accept returns or exchanges once a plant has been delivered or picked up. Live plants cannot be resold or reintroduced into inventory after leaving the seller’s care.
Refunds or replacements are only considered in cases covered under the Live Arrival or Shipping Policy, when applicable, and must meet all documented requirements outlined in that policy.
Buyer remorse, changes in preference, or issues arising after delivery that are unrelated to documented transit damage do not qualify for refunds or replacements.
Local pickup sales are considered final at the time of transfer.

Our Shipping Policy
Shipping Area
We ship live plants within the continental United States, excluding states with strict agricultural restrictions or high year-round transit risk. At this time, we do not ship to California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Arizona.
Carrier & Shipping Schedule
All orders ship via UPS only. Shipping days are Monday and Tuesday to reduce transit delays. Orders placed after Tuesday ship the following week.
What to Expect During Shipping
Plants are living items and may show normal transit stress. Most recover quickly with proper care. Each order is packed carefully and shipped only when conditions are appropriate.
Weather & Heat Protection
Buyers are encouraged to consider local weather at delivery. Heat packs and insulation are optional add-ons and must be selected at checkout. Orders shipped without protection are sent at the buyer’s discretion.
Unboxing Documentation
If a plant arrives with significant damage, a continuous unedited unboxing video is required, starting with the sealed box and ending with the plant fully removed.
Responsibility During Transit
Once a package has been handed to UPS, transit conditions and delivery timing are outside our control. Concerns are reviewed thoughtfully and fairly on a case-by-case basis.
Returns & Refunds
All plants are final sale. We do not offer refunds for minor cosmetic damage, acclimation stress, or carrier delays.
